So, in the last 4 days, I’ve been having weird dreams.. and most of it is going on a trip.. on the 1st day, I dreamt of going to Japan with the Tabemono Kurabu and last night (the 4th day) I dreamt of going to Taiwan wid Yo-jie… hoohhh.. according to yo-jie, I’m way too suntuk dat I keep dreaming of goin on a trip… yeah..seriously.. I kinda feel dat way.. it’s like, now, my mind is mostly blank, not really much to think or worry about.. previously, I always think and worry toooooo much.. dat I can barely sleep at night.. but now, the latest I slept is 12 o’clock.. and man.. my appetite is growing.. I feel like eating a lot… gahhh.. dat is bad..>.<” hm… I wonder where will I go in my next dream.. ^^

70th Anniversary Pearl Harbor attack

Hm… Funny how I wanna write this.. I’m watching the History channel,showing the documentary about Pearl Harbor:24hours after the attack.. Juz a few days ago, I watched again the movie,Pearl Harbor.. Its the 2nd times I’ve watched the movie (the whole movie,as mostly when they re-run it,I never bother to watch…) Well..anyway.. Wad I feel is… It gives me quiet a different feeling when watching it for the 2nd time.. Maybe because I watched it after I’ve visited the USS Arizona Memorial site..
Yea.. I’ve been there.. 2008.. I went for a holiday trip to west-coast and honolulu.. The 1st day in the itinerary is to honolulu.. And there, we went to the pearl harbor..we are not allowed to bring big bags/backpacks into the area..when we were inside, they have this little museum,where they still have the original stuffs from the tragedy.. They even have the bomb which was dropped by japan (that didn’t blow up when it happens), I dun really remember if it has been deactivated or not.. Then there are many photos from back then..the clothes,the guns and other stuffs..its all are originals from baack then..
I feel different when I’m over there.. I’m so excited to be able to visit the site of a history.. Weird thing is that I saw quite lots of japanese over there and I do wonder how they feel about being there (no offense at all towards da japs).. Some of them are like ashamed of wad has happened in the past (the info I got from the local guide).. Well.. Anyway, so,when we reach pearl harbor,we were given about 20-30min to be on our own (coz we r waiting for the show time for the documentary of the attack).. So we get to visit the museum and look around the area.. And when its time, we went into a little theatre and watch the documentary.. At 1 point, I feel anger towards the japs (sorry,no offense), coz the american navys and armies are doing their own thing,relaxing,enjoying the day aand suddenly “BAM!”… Shocking.. Made my tears welled up a bit (but didn’t cry…juz shocked).. After the documentary ends, we get on to a boat to get across to the USS Arizona Memorial site.. It chills me when we got there.. And we all have to be quite when we r there,no shoutings and loud noises…. As its also a burial site (coz many marines were trapped in the USS Arizona when it happens) so we have to respect the site.. Then we walk till the end of the site, there’s a huge wall, filled with the names of the people died in the attack.. And there’s an old man in a wheel chair, I think he’s one of the survivor, remembering his friends that died that day.. It is a quite touching scene,my tears almost fell…my heart sunk and feel sad.. (We were only given lyk 15-20min on that site,as there’s another boat coming ,the site can’t hold too many people on it,its not that big..) There’s one side in the memorial site,where you can see the oil floating towards the surfaace from below.. (The oil from the sinking USS Arizona still floats towards the surface since the attack, until today)
After bein’ to pearl harbor,the memorial site, watching pearl harbor gives me a lot of different feeling.. Maybe its caused by the fact that I’ve been there,saw the real site,the bomb,the documentary and heard stories from the local guide give me a different view of the history happened there..
I personally loves japan a LOT…the country,the language and the culture..but after being there and watch the movie, I can’t help but to feel anger towards the Japanese (sorry no offense to any Japanese who myt read dis)… I mean, how can they do this.. Only because the US won’t take part in the Europe war? And why do they lied about the “Peace” that was offered?saying that there will be peace between US and Japan… But then, the US also took revenge by “surprisely” attacked Hiroshima and Nagasaki (makes me feel sorry towards the Japanese too)..Well, I can’t say much, coz I wasn’t there and I’m not a historians.. I’m juz interested wid this topic lately (trust me, I also wonder why)… Well aside from it all, to all the army and navy and all people who died in the attack, may you all Rest In Peace, you are all Heroes, same goes to the people who died in the attack of the Hiroshima and Nagasaki (happened not long after the Pearl Harbor attack,claimed as the revenge from the US towards the Japanese)..
